Anti-Drama Law [!ADL]
Because I love scripting. And because sometimes IRC channels just get filled with shit.
Mod: !adf invoke [USER…]
Law: Anti-Drama Law has been invoked. The riot squad has been dispatched, all users are asked to stay clear.
Law <whisper> [USER…]: Lay down the conversation, and surrender you hate. Anti-Drama Law is in effect and you are being warned for causing unwanted turmoil.
Mod: !adf warn [USER…]
Law: The is a public warning, drama will not be tolerated.
Law <whisper> [USER…]: Resistance will be punished. Continuing this behaviour will result in a kick. Multiple offences will result in a ban.
Mod: !adf enforce [USER…]
Law <kick> [USER…] (Anti Drama Law)
Law: ADL has been enacted.
Mod: !adf dismiss [USER…]
Law: [USER…] has surrenders their hate and will no longer be removed upon enforcement.
Users would also be able to use ADL as a vote based system. It would vary a bit as I still plot it out. In essence though:
User1: !adl invoke [USER…]
Law <whisper> User1: You have declared Anti-Drama Law on [USER…]. Note that any form of abuse using this system will be severely reprimanded.
I think a minimum of 3-5 votes to kick would be acceptable. All user interaction with ADL would be recorded and send to the mods. And upon abuse:
Mod: !adl abuse [USER…]
Law: User invoked Anti-Drama Law is for keeping peace within the channel when moderators or admins are not present. Any and all abuse of the system is not tolerated.
Law: Removing [USER…] for abusing the system.
Now if only I could sit down and learn how to do that.
More to come?
