Child’s Play, Minecraft, And Explosions
So today I donated the grand sum of $100 to Child’s Play. I’m happy I finally had the chance to contribute to the cause. I myself couldn’t do without some form of entertainment and fun. Here they are providing a much more enjoyable and comforting experience for children all across North America.
What do I mean by “Explosions”? Well the event I watched over was of Minecraft. Those that donated had the opportunity to chose what could be blown up in a copy of the Voxel Box — a massive Minecraft server — the live streamers were roaming around in. And that’s exactly what they did for a part of the stream. The second section featured building structures of sorts. A squirtle and a potato…
It was stunning to see the massive structures individuals had built. And some of them torn down. Alas, I didn’t know I had to submit what I wanted blown up in the message box after donating via PayPal. That means my request to destroy a certain structure never happened. I was very upset but the money is for a great cause.
Now I’m hoping they’ll do a special request and follow through with my request then publish it on YouTube for myself and others to enjoy. Don’t think the charity is over with though, they’re still going strong with other events, games, and hosts.
Hope.
